The pursuit of Quality represents a shared commitment across the entire organisation and constitutes one of the fundamental principles on which Involve Space S.r.l. grounds its development. Quality is expressed through responsible conduct, technical competence, continuous innovation, and constant attention to the needs of customers and other interested parties.

Management regards the Quality Management System as a strategic tool for ensuring the reliability of its products and services, continuously improving company performance, and strengthening the company's competitiveness in the aerospace sector.

Involve Space develops innovative stratospheric technologies and platforms to make access to data, connectivity, and aerospace experimentation more sustainable, flexible, and economically accessible. The company designs, develops, integrates, and manages stratospheric systems based on high-altitude balloons, technological payloads, software platforms, and related services for scientific, industrial, and institutional applications.

The adoption of the Quality Management System conforming to UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 is a strategic choice by Management, aimed at ensuring customer requirements are met, mission reliability is maintained, the quality of acquired data is assured, and continuous improvement of company processes is pursued.

The Quality Management System is developed in compliance with applicable legislative and regulatory provisions, taking into account the context in which the organisation operates, the characteristics of the aerospace sector, the continuous evolution of technology, and the expectations of interested parties.

Interested Parties

The main interested parties identified by the organisation are:

Management promotes a company culture oriented towards quality, innovation, and responsibility, encouraging the active involvement of all personnel in the design, development, production, and management of missions. Every collaborator is called upon to understand their role, contribute to continuous improvement, and operate in accordance with company procedures, technical specifications, and Quality Management System requirements.

Quality Policy Objectives

To pursue these objectives, Management undertakes to:

  • Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System conforming to UNI EN ISO 9001:2015;
  • Define and periodically review measurable objectives, consistent with the company context, development strategies, and the expectations of interested parties;
  • Develop products and services characterised by high levels of quality, reliability, safety, and technological innovation;
  • Ensure that every stratospheric mission is planned, prepared, executed, and monitored according to criteria of technical reliability, risk management, and operational control;
  • Guarantee the quality, accuracy, availability, and traceability of data collected by payloads and developed platforms, so that they constitute reliable information for customers and the scientific community;
  • Promote research and development of new technologies, materials, flight systems, software platforms, and innovative solutions to enhance the performance of stratospheric systems;
  • Maintain high standards in the design, integration, testing, validation, and monitoring of products, adopting structured methodologies for verification and continuous improvement;
  • Fully comply with all applicable legislative, regulatory, contractual, and normative requirements;
  • Systematically identify, assess, and manage risks and opportunities associated with company processes, research and development projects, strategic suppliers, critical components, and mission operations;
  • Ensure the security of information, mission data, company information assets, and intellectual property, adopting appropriate cybersecurity and know-how protection measures;
  • Qualify, monitor, and develop suppliers and technology partners, favouring organisations capable of guaranteeing high levels of quality, technical reliability, operational continuity, and innovation capacity;
  • Ensure complete traceability of design, development, procurement, production, testing, mission management, and post-mission support activities;
  • Invest in the professional development of people through continuous training, technical updating, and growth of scientific, engineering, and managerial competencies;
  • Foster collaboration with universities, research centres, space agencies, institutions, and industrial partners as an essential element for technological innovation and the development of new competencies;
  • Promote the digitalisation of company processes and the use of advanced software tools for design, simulation, mission monitoring, data collection, and performance improvement;
  • Ensure a safe, collaborative, and innovation-oriented work environment, encouraging the active participation of all personnel in continuous improvement;
  • Pursue sustainable development of its activities, promoting efficient use of resources, reduction of environmental impacts, and the adoption of technological solutions that contribute to a more sustainable use of stratospheric platforms.

Through the pursuit of these objectives, Involve Space intends to consolidate its position among the most innovative companies in the stratospheric platform and Earth Observation sector, distinguishing itself through technological excellence, mission reliability, quality of data produced, innovation capacity, and customer satisfaction.

This Quality Policy is communicated to all personnel, made available to interested parties upon request, and periodically reviewed by Management within the Management Review, to verify its continued adequacy with respect to the company context, technological evolution, and the organisation's development strategies.

Every collaborator is called upon to contribute, in accordance with their responsibilities and competencies, to the achievement of quality objectives and to the continuous improvement of the Management System, so that this Policy constitutes a living instrument concretely applied in the conduct of company activities.
