Our First Launch in the USA from the Houston Spaceport

We are thrilled to share a major milestone for Involve: our very first launch in the United States, conducted from the Houston Spaceport. This mission marks not only our official entry into the American market but also a significant step forward in expanding our global operations.

Our stratospheric balloon, measuring 20 meters in diameter, reached an altitude of 26 kilometers, flying for about five hours and covering 400 kilometers across the Texas sky. This success demonstrates the reliability and strength of our technology, built upon years of experience and over 30 successful launches in Europe.

The launch, carried out under the supervision of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), opens the door to new opportunities for innovative applications in Earth monitoring. The stratosphere offers a strategic platform for activities such as critical infrastructure security, traffic management, defense, and natural disaster monitoring.

We have also signed a preliminary agreement with Houston Spaceport to strengthen our presence and collaborate on enhancing the use of the stratosphere within the US. At the same time, we are developing partnerships with NASA and leading industry players to accelerate research and development of advanced surveillance and communication platforms.

Beyond the technology and business milestones, this achievement is a tribute to the passion, dedication, and hard work of our entire team. Every member of Involve from engineers and flight operators to researchers and support staff has brought their unique skills and commitment to making this dream a reality. We are not just launching balloons; we are launching a shared vision of innovation, collaboration, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

Looking ahead with enthusiasm, we plan to expand our launch operations in the US and continue driving technological innovation to deliver increasingly efficient and reliable solutions for government and industrial partners. We strongly believe our technology can contribute to global security and emergency management by providing high-quality, real-time data.

This launch confirms Involve’s ability to bring Italian technological excellence to the aerospace sector and to play a leading role in the global space economy.
